Synopsis
In She Loves Me, Georg and Amalia are two feuding clerks in a European parfumerie during the 1930s who secretly find solace in their anonymous romantic pen pals, little knowing their respective correspondents are none other than each other. She Loves Me was adapted from the play Parfumerie by Miklos Lazslo which, in turn, was the inspiriation for the 1949 Judy Garland film In The Good Old Summertime, as well as the Tom Hanks-Meg Ryam romantic comedy, You've Got Mail.
Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick are the songwriting team of Fiddler on the Roof as well.
